@CapitalOne does a fun thing…if you actually use the revolving credit line they issue you, they go ahead and lower your credit limit. So now, I will simply pay the whole thing off and NEVER use the card again. With statements being mailed of course….

@StanleyRoberts @CapitalOne I called customer service, explained the situation, they did a "one time" reversal of all late charges, I paid the balance right there on the phone and anything that may go to the credit report would be fixed. So yes, they can do it. Throw a little weight around (notoriety).

@StanleyRoberts @CapitalOne I read the original posts. This exact same scenario happened to me in 2023. Card that I had not used in a year, didn't want to lose it, made a $20 purchase and forgot that it went to that card. A few months passed, missed payments, late fee, etc. I received the same notice... 1/2

@Walmart my credit card company @CapitalOne thought Walmart+ membership charge was fraud & declined it. I confirmed NOT a fraudulent charge. Tried your idiot bot chat. It doesn't understand. PLEASE provide REAL phone number to a REAL person so I can ask them to charge it again.
