@TexasMonthly Yet, the "at cost" fuel portion of my @atmosenergy bill is $9 per MCF (thousand cubic feet). I realize they don't buy at spot prices but still, are they that bad at their purchase decisions, do they just not care or is there something else going on?

@kellwoohoo My homeowners increased $1600!! @atmosenergy charges me $40/mo just for a customer fee at a house barely using any natural gas!! Electric rates off the charts!! @GregAbbott_TX did this!!

@incognito0225 @wendyp4545 And he clearly doesn’t give a damn about the people of Texas either. I opened my @atmosenergy bill a couple days ago and it had nearly doubled from the previous bill. Absolutely outrageous! And I keep my house at 67-68 in winter.

@atmosenergy ...service, you ALSO have to call DURING WORKING HOURS to try and SCHEDULE someone to come back and turn the gas back on. Its absurd. Its 2024 for christs sake, why cant you schedule turn ons after bills are paid automatically? And why arent you using generative AI to implement..

@atmosenergy Its not classified as an emergency. Its not a gas leak. If someone's electricity gets cut off because bill isnt paid, users pay the bill and the electricity is turned back on. And they have 24/7 customer service. ATMOS is run so terribly, you no only dont have 24/7 customer..
