@xenticore Even worse, on aggregate platforms like @AppleNews, the related articles may be entirely different, based on your reading habits, and give even less an indication that the content might be sponsored. (This is where I'd read it.)

@xenticore @AppleNews To be fair: I'm assuming it's sponsored. Again, there's literally no indication it is. But it's so MUCH of an ad that if it's NOT paid advertisement then one of their writers need sacked, and they need a stricter editorial process in place.

@xenticore @AppleNews IMHO no. Even in the replies there's others upset over the lack of clear notice on branded or sponsored content. The only people going to bat for it are people familiar with the series, and one individual going "nuhuh, else they'd be violating their sponsored content policy".

@Apple, an @AppleNews sub should come with an @X account. I don’t like paying for legacy media trash that is dying. I hardly use AppleNews anymore because we all know the sources are full of shit. Lower my sub fee and bundle X into it.
