Loving that the interest rate in my @AmericanExpress high yield savings account has dropped TWICE in 2 weeks. Opened it to try it out but I think I’m pulling my funds and putting them back into my long standing savings high interest account and closing this one. @AskAmex

@Americanexpress I dont know whats going on internally but you lot need to stop cold calling people asking for their details. Customer service has dropped significantly & no one has any manners. Coming like real scammers

I felt a tiny bit bad about cancelling my @AmericanExpress card after 37 years, but I haven't seen any tangible benefit in keeping (and, more the point, paying for it) in at least a decade. Then they refused to refund the membership fee billed to me 3 weeks ago. Feeling good now

I had somewhat falsely assumed that if you buy something and pay with @AmericanExpress that issuing a chargeback would be straightforward if it turns out the item you received isn’t any good and the merchant doesn’t reply to support emails.
