American Airlines is in the process of merging with US Airways. This merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.

@KatiePMcGrady @AmericanAir They slammed the door on 19 of us in December. We were on an AA flight from Chicago to LAX with a connection in Vegas. The rest of the plane waited while 19 of us ran off the plane to the connecting flight. Slammed the door and didn’t let us on. They had to rebook all 19 of us.

@AmericanAir In what way? Adding a huge new charge for an authorized user alongside a huge increase in the annual fee of the cc itself is not providing the "best benefits". @united's comp card is $525 w/ no auth user fee. Yours is $575 w/ $125 auth use fee.

@AmericanAir a couple weeks ago on a flight to Chicago there was a disturbance on a plane where @DonnieDoesWorld and other people had to take down someone who tried to open the plane door. When will recognize what these people did in saving the lives of everyone on the plane?
