American Airlines is a US airline and has Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport as its largest hub. American Airlines also owns American Eagle, which operates mostly regional flights. American Airlines is in the process of merging with US Airways. This merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.

@rschuur_aero @embraer @AzorraAviation @AmericanAir The bet on a change in the scope clause seems to not have paid off.. And the E2-195, while beeing a plane I like seems to be beaten by the 220 more often lately. Maybe another stretch - if possible could help economics ?

@AmericanAir AA 1098 has a navigation alignment issue. We boarded the flight and were turned around within 15/20 minutes. The captain made an announcement that they were going to have to totally power down the aircraft to see if they could get it to reboot manually. On standby as of 618am.

@AmericanAir I flew @AmericanAir first class two weeks ago and was offered Chips Ahoy cookies. Quite a downgrade from the old hot cookies and peanuts.
