American Airlines is a US airline and has Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport as its largest hub. American Airlines also owns American Eagle, which operates mostly regional flights. American Airlines is in the process of merging with US Airways. This merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.

@AmericanAir customer service is terrible. They had me stuck overnight at a regional airport and rebooked in an eternal flight with layover’s I hadn’t originally booked. Their compensation after 500 USD I spent because of their informality is 5,000 miles

@AmericanAir did us a solid: We haven't flown with AA for a while, so they blew away all of our frequent flier miles, deleted our ff accounts, and pretty much stamped the dirt down on any business we might have given them in future.
