We’ve been on the phone all week, repeated promises of a specialised team that will come back to us, never any specific replies. Panicked guests. Superhosts.

What I didn't realize when coming out as transgender is how many online services require you to send them an updated ID in order to change something as easy as your displayed name, making them completely unusable for a long time. @Airbnb and @PayPal are the worst of them.
