Telstra has been knocked off the podium in the run for worst customer service ever! Just under an hour on the phone to Activ8me NBN Fibre & Wireless for a client to try to sort out a simple email password, and I have not even spoken to anyone, just a recording. Stay away from these people if you value your (or my) time!

So the installation of my satellite dish and modem is done.... Sadly for us Activ8me NBN Fibre & Wireless who I registered with in January still can't get their you-know-what together and send me a signal. They can't even work out how I got satellite NBN dish installed as they reckon they didn't organise it. Can anyone recommend a company who will be happy to provide me with an Internet connection ASAP??? Every day my child misses out on her online lessons is an opportunity missed :( Doesn't anyone want my money??? ;)

Miss Chardy: Missing in Action.... good news: we were the 6th installation of the new Sky Muster NBN hardware, bad news: we have no internet connection (doing this quick little post from our office computer which hardly has any internet download). Apparently our new "Education Ports" are a bit of an issue. Lets hope Activ8me NBN Fibre & Wireless get some internet sorted for us as this is now day 3 of no internet in our school room, not good when the kids rely on this for their School of the Air on air lessons, not to mention general day to day school work. This is why I have been a bit quiet lately both here and on the blog. Hang in there with me, promise I will be back soon. :) I am telling you - there would be riots in the streets if people in towns and cities had to put up with the internet/no mobile service that we do. Many would probably do themselves in - no internet service AND no mobile service, good lord how would they cope .... yes, there are still places with no mobile service - it's called Bum Truck Nowhere and many people live there including me! How are you all anyway? It's been a while hasn't it!!! :)

Fantastic to be involved in the Activ8me NBN Fibre & Wireless NBN Sky Muster Launch NSW in Deniliquin recently; this is great news for internet users in the Southern Riverina and will help people conduct everyday business and complete routine communication. NBN’s advanced technology will enable families, farmers and businesses to access applications and opens the door for a countless number of opportunities across the digital word.

{IMPORTANT INFO FOR SKY MUSTER NBN Satellite Customers} Please be aware that 'registering your interest' on the NBN website DOES NOT place you in the queue or sign you up for the new satellite. You MUST register with a provider - current providers who have released plans for NBN Sky Muster are SkyMesh Pty Ltd, Harbour ISP, Activ8me NBN Fibre & Wireless, ANT Communications & BorderNet - plans are very similar in GB limits and pricing, peak and off peak times are the same with all providers. All providers must meet the NBN Fair Use Policy Guidelines. Please consider customer service when choosing a provider. Even if your address won't map on the NBN site, you still need to register with a provider. Details for the Educational Port for each state are NOT finalised, if you are a distance education family you should sort your home connection first and then when more details are available apply for the educational port. NB: The educational port will be applied differently in each state. PLEASE check your current service CONTRACTS before signing up with a new provider.
